Ann Romney to attend coffee with the Jackson County Republican Party

Former First Lady of Massachusetts to visit Jackson for husband’s Presidential campaign

The Jackson County Republican Party is proud to welcome Ann Romney to a coffee in Jackson on Friday, November 9.

Ann Romney is the wife of Presidential Candidate Gov. Mitt Romney and the former First lady of Massachusetts. Mrs. Romney will be on hand to talk about her husband’s Presidential campaign, her battle with Multiple Sclerosis and many other topics.

The coffee will be held at the Jackson Coffee Company in downtown Jackson and start at 8:00a.m. The cost for the event is $20 and reservations can be made by visiting www.jacksonrepublicans.com or by phone at 517-499-5622.

“Ann Romney will make a superb First Lady in the tradition of Laura Bush and Nancy Reagan and I am glad she can bring her warmth and charm to Jackson,” said Jon Williams, former Chair of the Jackson County Republican Party and Romney supporter.

Ann Romney attended high school in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan at the Kingswood School, the sister school to the high school Governor Romney attended. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in French from Brigham Young University. She is a sports enthusiast and an avid equestrian, having received competitive recognition in dressage events nationwide, including winning the 2006 Gold Medal and 2005 Silver Medal at the Grand Prix level from the United States Dressage Federation. As residents of Belmont, Massachusetts for over thirty years, the Romney’s celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary this year. They have five sons, five daughters-in-law, and ten grandchildren.
